How it works

Mobile Payment Illustration Digital wallets are an innovative way to make purchases utilizing your mobile device without relying on your physical debit card. Your debit card and personal information are stored securely in an app on your device and used digitally when you pay online, in app, or through Near-Field Communication (NFC) when you make a purchase in store through a compatible terminal. When you see the option to pay using your device, you'll simply follow the onscreen prompts you see on your device or online. Getting prepared is easy!

To get started

Download the appropriate mobile wallet app (This may already be installed on your mobile device. For example, "Wallet" in iOS devices).
Next, add your City Bank debit card information to the mobile wallet.
When checking out at participating merchants, access your mobile wallet and choose your City Bank debit card. Follow the onscreen prompts while holding your mobile device within close proximity to the terminal.
