It's easy to activate and use your card. Here are some tips on what to do next:
1. Activate your new card by calling 800-290-7893.
2. Update your City Bank Debit Card information with every vendor, merchant, and service that bills your card automatically.
3. Review your statements to identify any others you might have missed.
4. Once you have activated your new City Bank Debit Card, destroy your old card; it is no longer valid.
5. Add your City Bank Debit Card to your digital wallet.

Take control of your debit card with the City Bank Mobile App
The debit card management feature in the City Bank Mobile App offers an exclusive level of protection by helping customers prevent fraud by remotely disabling their debit card if it has been compromised, lost, or stolen—plus the ability to raise limits. Learn more.
Use Tap and Pay
City Bank MasterCard® Debit Cards are contactless. Simply tap your debit card against a card reader to pay. This option allows you to skip inserting or swiping your card. Look for the contactless symbol at contactless-enabled merchant terminals to use this feature.
Some recurring transactions could automatically be updated with MasterCard® Automatic Billing Updater
MasterCard's Automatic Billing Updater (ABU) is a service participating merchants can use to retrieve cardholder account changes, like new debit or credit card numbers, to ensure as little disruption as possible for your card-on-file transactions and recurring payments. City Bank debit cards are automatically enrolled. Opt out is available by calling 1-800-687-2265 or visiting your local branch. ABU only updates participating merchants and may not update all recurring payments.
