When Will We Call You?
We will call you to:
- Resolve a problem with one or more of your accounts (City Bank will NEVER ask you for your password, PIN, or Secure Access Code)
- Follow up with loan applications
- Verify a funds transfer
- Give you information on services and offerings we think you would like to know about
What Will the Phone Caller Caller-ID Be?
We use the City Bank name for all our phone numbers. When you need to be sure it is really City Bank calling you, we recommend you call us at 800-687-2265.
When Will We Text You?
You’ll receive text messages from us when:
- From 86434 - When you login to Online or Mobile Banking on a new device, and we need to verify your identity with Multi-factor (Two-Step) authentication
- From 96923 - When you have a City Bank Debit Card, and we have detected suspicious activity on your card
- From 265646 - When you have enrolled in Bank-N-Go text alerting to alert you when various activity with your Online or Mobile banking has occurred
When Will You Email Me?
City Bank sends emails to when:
- A new eStatement is available
- You have turned on activity alerts in Online or Mobile Banking
- We are responding to emails you sent to us
- We have news and information you may like to hear about
- We have information on services and offerings we think you would like to know about
What Will the Email Address Be?
Most City Bank email addresses end in “city.bank”. This is important because only verified financial institutions are allowed to use “.bank”. Some of our third-party providers may have different email addresses. These will become known by you once you begin using services that send you emails.
Report suspicious activity or fraud
If you see something suspicious with your accounts, suspect that your personal and/or financial information has been compromised, or have experienced fraud, please contact us immediately at (800) 687-2265.
